Michael Orbino is the Co-Founder and Managing Broker of Team Foster Builder + Developer Services in Downtown Bellevue, bringing more than 20 years of real estate sales, marketing, and consulting experience to his clients. Recognized as Seattle King County REALTORS®’ REALTOR® of the Year—the organization’s highest honor among more than 6,000 members—Michael specializes in land development, pro forma analysis, project planning, and sales team training. His expertise serves a diverse clientele ranging from builders, developers, and investors to individuals and families seeking strategic guidance for complex real estate decisions. He holds several prestigious REALTOR® designations, including Council of Residential Specialists (CRS), Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), and Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI).
A respected industry leader, Michael has served as a Director for the National Association of REALTORS® and as Federal Political Coordinator for Washington’s 1st Congressional District. His previous leadership roles include Washington REALTOR® Party IC Chairman, Seattle King County REALTORS® Vice President of Governmental Affairs, Chairman of the Washington REALTORS® Condominium Working Group, and Founding Chairman of the Young Professionals Network. He currently serves on the University of Washington Runstad Center for Real Estate Studies Advisory Board and is a member of the Urban Land Institute’s Center for Leadership. His civic involvement includes appointments to the City of Bellevue’s Affordable Housing Technical Advisory Group and King County’s Land Conservation Advisory Group.
Michael studied law, politics, and economics at the University of Washington and later completed the Executive Development Program at the Foster School of Business, focusing on organizational management, competitive strategy, and leadership. A passionate advocate for community engagement, he serves as Vice Chairman of Teach For America Washington and sits on the boards of the YMCA of Greater Seattle and the Washington Wildlife & Recreation Coalition. He has also mentored students through Bellevue School District’s VIBES program and taught financial literacy through Junior Achievement across multiple school districts.
Before his real estate career, Michael served six years in the United States Army Reserve, achieving the rank of Sergeant and completing a year of active-duty mobilization in support of Operations Noble Eagle and Enduring Freedom. As a member of the Finance Corps, he helped ensure soldier readiness and financial stability for military families during wartime deployments. His military service earned him multiple decorations and citations, including recognition as an Honor Graduate and Expert Marksman.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with family and friends and pursuing interests such as skiing, boating, reading, travel, and engaging conversations. His travels have taken him to destinations including India, Italy, Switzerland, Russia, Amsterdam, French Polynesia, and Nicaragua, with future aspirations to explore more of Asia and Africa.
